HPS2

Project HPS2, Heat Pipe Solutions for High Power Systems. Financed by ESA as part of ARTES project. PoliMI coordinates the group with the aim to develop a monobloc module with incorporated heat pipes, mainly produced with AM techniques. It will transport excess heat as directly as possibile from electronic components to an external heat sink, with an objective 15% improvement in the spacecraft’s heat dissipation capacity without changing the radiator surface.
