Non-destructive testing

Once AM components have been produced, we perform non-destructive testing to assess their quality. When BEAMIT Group carries out these tests, the requirements and specifications of the customer are of paramount importance.

FPI testing

FPI testing is carried out in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3452-1:2013 by UNI EN ISO 9712:12 certified Level 2 personnel to detect any linear, surface and/or deeper discontinuities, porosity and clustered porosity.

DPI testing

This is a penetrant technique with a spray in a contrasting color to detect any linear, surface and/or deeper discontinuities, porosity and clustered porosity.
