Process development and consolidation

Sviluppo e consolidamento processi | Gruppo BEAMIT

BEAMIT Group’s Material and Process department monitors and develops additive processes and researches new materials for AM technology so we can guarantee maximum performance from the finished product.

Samples from each batch are tested to monitor how the special processes behave, specifically AM and heat treatments, so we can ensure their repeatability and correct any errors early on. Once a process has been developed it must be qualified, an essential phase without which production cannot begin.

In addition to optimizing process parameters and monitoring ongoing productions, BEAMIT Group develops new AM materials to meet the high demand for enhanced component performance in innovation industries. We focus on the chemical composition of existing materials when custom developing new materials for AM processes: we go beyond simply optimizing printing parameters, and create an entire series of processes designed to maximize a material’s performance.
